52 WEEKS OF DRAWING CHALLENGE, A PORTRAIT OF RICHARD

Hey guys so it’s that time of week again where you get to see my lame drawings.  I am pretty impressed that I have managed to keep this up for 5 weeks now. Anyway so this weeks drawing challenge was to draw someone who means a lot to you. Sooo I decided to draw Richard. Without getting all smooshy. We have been together 2 and a bit years and I loves him. So yeah he means quite a bit to me… This trumps the rhino in difficulty purely because of Richards luscious hair. ( hair dressers words not just mine). He’s got that kind of prince charming from Shrek look going on. So there’s a fine line I found when doing his hair, between it coming out like it did and looking like a girls bob.

The picture…its basic, it’s slightly child like but hey everyone has their own style. People just really aren’t my forte. I was pretty close to just drawing a stick man… but Richard insisted that I actually try to make it look like him. I think it’s pretty dead on. I have noticed that there haven’t yet been any actual pictures of me and Richard. Not purposely done it just hasn’t come up yet. Possible style post to come though, which may involve some actual photographs. I promise we do actually exist.

Anyway I haven’t forgotten the DIY coffee corner, I had a vision that involved gold spray paint, mugs and latte glasses. So its going to be added too, plus possibly a few more DIY posts in there. Before you ask, I am pretty much obsessed with gold right now…

Enjoy the picture..and have a good weekend.

Richard

You have caught his look brilliantly!!! No editing R. Are his glasses in his pocket?
